Check out the new mud run company called ThundR Productions!
They are located out of Denver, CO. The company is owned by two military guys
one is retired Special Forces and the other is a Blackhawk pilot. They both
love these events so they started their own company. They have 9 events planned
for 2012. Check them out on Facebook and click the like button for race info
and training tip.

I like running to trance music as well, though my fave is a lot of stuff by Tiesto... Love Adagio for Strings and Elements of Life. Good post!

Thanks killerabsmtn! I'm actually signing up to do the Tough Mudder race in April! I didn't require registering before but my blog was getting BOMBARDED with spammer comments all the time... it's really just for me not to have to go in and delete comments every day - thanks for taking the time to actually jump the loop to comment though! I'll look at the disqus thing too!

There's also Tough Mudder and Spartan Race! Groupon just featured SpartanRace today. I was trying to figure out what mud run I wanted to do this year among the many, so I googled "mud run southern california" and found your post.

JT - if you haven't done so, you *must* make it to Travel Town railroad (http://www.traveltown.org/) on a Saturday or Sunday when it's open. Another hidden gem in Griffith Park!
